The Codes of Fundraising Practice
The Institute of Fundraising’s Codes of Fundraising Practice represent the standards set for fundraisers in the UK. Each code covers a separate fundraising technique, providing guidance and legal advice, and information on how to ensure and safeguard excellence.
By becoming a member of the Fundraising Standards Board scheme we ask you to follow these Codes.
But don’t worry. You only need to know the ones that are relevant to the fundraising methods you use. And if you’re thinking about trying something new, make sure you check if there is a relevant code before you start.
