Advice & Regulation
The Advisory Forum
The FRSB advisory forum held its first meeting in April 2009 and meets every quarter.
The forum has been set up to give members the opportunity to feedback on the scheme's progress and express views, opinions and concerns which contribute to its development.
We are currently looking for new representatives in the following groups:
- 3 from the small charities group (income under £500k)
- 1 from the medium charities group (income £501k - £5m)
What does it look like?
The forum has 25 representatives from the membership, who nominate themselves, and sit on the forum for a 12 month period.
The breakdown consists of five representatives from each of these groups:
- Small charities (income under £500k)
- Medium charities (income between £501k - £5m)
- Large charities (income between £5-10m)
- Very large charities (income over £10m)
- Suppliers
What do they do?
The advisory forum helps us by:
- Contributing to the development of marketing and communication plans
- Providing feedback on the development of IOF Codes of Fundraising Practice and the FRSB Fundraising Promise
- Helping develop and promote member benefits
- Assisting with gauging public opinion about fundraising
