Your Main Obligations in a Nutshell
There are a few steps you should take to ensure you comply with the Terms and Conditions of your membership. This is intended as a simple guide to help you with implementing membership of the FRSB Scheme. This outline does not replace the full Terms & Conditions.

1. Scheme Logo
- Have a copy of the scheme logo
- You will be sent a password giving you access to the members’ area of the website when you join. To add other users, please contact membership@frsb.org.uk
- Display the logo on organisation website / fundraising materials where practical (this includes the “Donate now” section of your website, a fundraising advert or leaflet, collection boxes / tabards etc)
2. Your Fundraising Promise
- Display the Fundraising Promise on your website on your fundraising pages. (A template of the Fundraising Promise can be downloaded from this website to which you can add your logo)
3. Complaints Process
- Have a complaints process in place (a generic complaints process is available from this website)
- Display the complaints process on your website and/or have it available in writing
- Make reference to FRSB as an additional route to resolution
- Designate a complaints co-ordinator (the person who will deal with fundraising complaints)
4. Institute of Fundraising's Codes of Fundraising Practice
- Identify the Codes that are relevant to your fundraising activities
- Abide by the Codes of Practice when fundraising
- Ensure relevant staff / volunteers are aware of the Codes
